Loop's Hatches

We would like to welcome and introduce our new educational sales representative, Erica Beaumont to the Loop. She is new to print but no stranger to the educational market, having many years experience both in teaching and selling educational products. Already she is off to a flying start.

Loop love - Cupid has been busy here at Loop. Firstly we would like to congratulate Laura Bolton (Studio) and Richard Ashton (Repro) on their engagement. We wish them lots of happiness and with an all Loop wedding pending, we will report back when it is their big day!!!

Which brings us to a Loop wedding that has already happened, that of senior print minder Trev and the lovely Nikkie, who got married recently. Everything went well and they have just come back from a lovely honeymoon in Cornwall.

Loop's Despatches

Finally we are saying a big goodbye this week, in fact it is 2 goodbyes. The first is to Mary Johnson, the second is to Margaret Tindall, both our accounts ladies are retiring.

Between them they have clocked up 38 years of service to the business and they will be sadly missed. So a massive thankyou to these two for all they’ve done for us over the years and we would like to wish them a lovely and hopefully peaceful retirement.

We trust you all had a relaxing and not too merry Christmas.

Let’s hope 2011 brings us all a better economic future and have turned the corner on the recession. Now we only have the swine flu to worry about. 

Well the last 3 months have been very busy here at the Loop. Apart from ending the year being fantastically busy, we have been enjoying ourselves with the Whirlow Hall Farm team. As you know we are proud sponsors of the Whirlow Farm Trust and we have been enjoying the events that they have had on over the last few months. This started with the brilliant Beer and Banger night at the end of October, which apart from being freezing was a very funny night. Hats off to Toby Foster who is a fab compare.

Then just before the snow came the Whirlow Christmas Fayre was a huge success.  But the cherry on the cake for us was the Christmas Carol service. It was just perfect! Such a high standard of singers and musicians, but as always children steal the show and rightly so. We cannot recommend this enough as an annual treat for all the family. Very moving.

Loop were proud sponsors of the Whirlow Hall Farm Fayre in September. We sponsored the 10k run which took in a scenic route local to Whirlow and attracted many runners, including our own Chris Gray.
